CURRICULUM

The Eureka Infosys School Adopts curriculum of the Indian Council of Secondary Education (ICSE) Programme. It offers an exciting and creative learning environment, with an interdisciplinary appreciation of Languages, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, as individual and integrated subjects. Hindi is taught as a Second Language, while Marathi is offered as the Third Language, which helps to build a strong foundation in Indian languages. Equal emphasis is given to individual, small group, and whole-group activities, to improve children's ability to work across all levels. Physical Education develops sports skills and creates health awareness. Exposure to team and individual sports encourage a sense of team spirit, and individual effort, and accomplishment. Students' engagement in community service activities from Class III onwards sensitizes them to the needs of their community and to the world around them; they visit old-age homes and orphanages to understand their situations and also to support underprivileged children.

KINDERGARTEN

“You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives.” Following this belief, we realize that the first few years are very crucial in a child’s life. These years set the tone for the entire academic life of the child. Bearing this in mind, the Kindergarten at Eureka Infosys is given utmost importance right from the stages of planning to implementation. The early childhood years focus on learning through experience, interaction, and inquiry. Classrooms are vibrant and colorful centers of happy activity pads. Our little ones are proud of their environment and are always eager to express their joy in learning.

The parents here get to watch their child constantly improve in their social, interpersonal, academic and vocabulary skills.

The children also enjoy their theme-related trips and fun outings, the memories of which they carry with them, even as time passes by.

ELEMENTARY

Elementary education is the basis for the child’s successful future. Our child-centered approach is designed using the best global practices and has a holistic approach to learning. The Elementary School comprises Grade I to V and follows the model of experiential learning and inter-disciplinary approach to study and learning. The curriculum that has been designed for Grade I to V gives a wide scope for the children to explore their interests and develop abilities to promote creativity, curiosity, determination, independence, self-reliance, tolerance, and teamwork. These qualities enable them to excel in all fields and learn strategies that will help them cope with varying situations in life. The curriculum tries to address the individuality of each student and doesn’t confine itself to academics. Sports and other activities are integrated to the curriculum.

MIDDLE

The Middle School comprises grades VI to VIII and is not only a transition stage in the learner’s academic life but also ensures that the students have a smooth transition from middle to senior school.

The Middle School curriculum aims at developing critical thinking. At Eureka Infosys we believe that children must receive a thorough grounding of whatever concepts they learn and this learning has to be integrated with life with the motto being “maximum growth for each learner”. We have a curriculum which has evolved after years of research and expertise. At Eureka Infosys, the Programme of study followed and designed for the middle school takes into consideration the expectations at entrance level for high school.

The program of the study followed at this level is also termed as futuristic learning and involves:

  • Thorough grounding

  • Development of critical thinking

  • Team skills

  • Effective communication through various activities such as Power Point Presentations, Debates, Elocution and Group Discussions.
